Fly-In to Washington, DC

Join us in Washington, DC on September 18 at 4:30PM through September 19 at 9PM to elevate your company’s voice on the topic of workforce development with policymakers.

Our 2nd fly-in on workforce development is here! Join us in Washington, DC and make your voice heard on workforce development policies that are impacting your business.

German companies in the U.S. are encouraged to come to DC to meet with decision-makers on workforce policy, and the effects of immigration on their workforce, to actively engage in shaping regulations that influence their U.S. operations.

72% of German subsidiaries in the U.S. plan to expand their workforce in 2024, though 91% struggle with recruitment, according to the 2024 German American Business Outlook results. DGIC offers the opportunity to bring these concerns to key decision-makers during our Fly-In to Washinton, DC. Join us for a 1-day deep-dive into Washington’s policy ecosystem and experience firsthand how German companies and the U.S. government can benefit from discussing workforce development. The Fly-In offers the chance to meet with officials from the U.S. Administration, U.S. Congress, National Governors Association, the German Embassy, and will conclude with our annual Oktoberfest networking reception welcoming over 200 business, policy, and industry professionals across the DC-metro region.
